The problem
Every invoice went through someone else
Every job ends with an invoice built from the same pieces: the type of job, wood and brush cleanup, stump work, and a short list of regular charges. But the owner couldn't make them himself. He sent the job details, waited for a reply, and got back a hand-built invoice. Each one took 10 to 15 minutes to make, plus up to 4 business hours waiting for the request to get picked up.
- Invoices went out hours after the job, not while the work was fresh.
- Every invoice depended on another person's schedule.
- Repeat customers meant retyping the same names, addresses and charges.

Their exact format
Prints to PDF in the same layout their customers already know.
See how it works
We built a demo version for a fictional tree service so you can try it with sample data.
The result
Before and after
| Compare | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Who makes the invoice | Someone else, on request | The owner, on his own |
| Time per invoice | 10 to 15 min, plus up to 4 business hours of waiting | A few minutes, start to sent |
| When it goes out | Hours after the job | Minutes after the job |
| Repeat customers | Retyped every time | One click |
About 90 invoices a year now go out minutes after the job, with no one to wait on. Roughly 20 hours a year of invoice work is gone, and every invoice reaches the customer while the job is still fresh.
Based on 7 to 8 invoices a month at 10 to 15 minutes each.
